We commissioned JCP to provide structural advice and design in connection with the complete renovation of a Victorian property that my wife and I are undertaking. I am more than happy to say that JCP were very easy to contact and deal with, they were very prompt in providing the services and they offered very good value for money.

The solutions they came up with were practical and well thought through, and the information they provided was clear and easy to understand. More than that, they were proactive in their approach, making very useful suggestions, and they coordinated seamlessly with our Architect and Building Contractor.

All in all, I would have no hesitation in using JCP again and I’m quite happy to put my name to this feedback and recommend them to others who need quality structural engineering advice.

We are looking to get some building work completed that requires a couple of walls removed. I was advised that I needed a structural engineer report by our builder. JCP was referred to me by a friend (after a rather unpleasant experience with another rather rude company) and I wasn’t disappointed. They were lovely from start to finish, explained everything in detail and delivered.

They came to site, drew up everything needed (which meant we also saved on architect costs). The turnaround was quick, they were all personable (office and site) and prices were very reasonable (in fact cheaper than the other not so nice company and they hadn’t even planned to visit site). Very happy with our choice and would highly recommend JCP

Excellent service.We recently had an emergency structural issue with our property that caused us a great deal of stress. JCP Engineers were recommended by the local builder we initially contacted for help.They responded immediately with a three hour consultation followed by a second three hour consolation a few days later.

Kate Rogers was our contact and could not have been more helpful or reassuring. We now have the final fully detailed report and can progress with the remedial work required. Both Kate and the office staff we dealt with were extremely prompt and very professional.

We are very pleased to be quoted as fully satisfied with the service provided by your colleagues, in particular, Oliver, who conducted our site visit and for the very detailed survey report received following his visit. We now have confidence, Oliver's report will result in a safe development of our conversion project which was not a straightforward engineering solution.

I was reassured listening- in to the discussion Oliver & my architect had, over nearly 2 hours until they both had confidence in the agreed way forward. So a heartfelt thanks from Janie & me in the knowledge that we were in the hands of a very professional structural engineer. Impressive, also in these troubled times, your report arrived on schedule.

Excellent Service which enabled Building Regulations approval in a timely manner. (Five Stars!)

I can highly commend the professional service we received from JCP Consulting Engineers. Their response to the initial enquiry was very prompt, their price for undertaking the work very competitive and the structural design and calculations was received in a timely manner. Their work enabled our project to receive building regulations approval in a couple of weeks; well within the timescale needed for the project to proceed without a hitch.

JCP Engineers carried out a structural survey on a house for me. The fee was competitive and the work was quickly arranged and completed. The report which soon followed provided me with all the information I needed to confidently proceed with the purchase. The staff have been a pleasure to deal with and I will certainly use JCP again should the need arise.

I used JCP for a steel calculation for my extension. They were competitively priced and the turnaround for completed work was excellent. I also had multiple queries dealt with after the calculations had been provided and these were also managed swiftly and professionally (Kate Rogers specifically, was excellent).

JCP Engineers were so good when we discovered that the front of our house was being held up by a piece of wood. An engineer visited the next working day and detailed calculations arrived 2 days later which allowed our builder to order the correct steel and fit it within 7 days of discovery.
